Posterous Ponderings

As some of you may know, Posterous recently was shut down by Twitter. I've had one for a few years and mostly used it to post poems, short stories and song lyrics I've written from high school to now. Since the site is no longer live, I've archived my posts (twice actually, just to be safe).

With that said, I now need some help. I don't know what to do with these things. I mean, I want them online somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure where and I'm kind of exhausted by the thought of creating yet another social media account, only to have it disappear on me through an acquisition (R.I.P. Imeem!).

I want to put them somewhere they'll stick around for a while. Where I can go back and read them, and not have to worry about the company that's hosting them dying or being absorbed and excreted. I also know none of this will matter until I host my own stuff, but that's not financially an option so I've made this poll for you to help me decide.

So what do you think? Would you want to see poems/songs/stories here? This hasn't been a strictly PR blog for quite some time, so I think it would be alright. Would you rather them be on Facebook? Should I just suck it up and create a Tumblog?

Help.

Where should I post my Posterous writings?
